Continuity function specification notation
The testers’ continuity function specifications are neither in-house standards nor public standards, and pertain to the individual unit. The continuity range will depend on the individual LSI mounted in the tester.
Examples of continuity specification notation are as follows:

For example, if the continuity specification reads
■ Buzzer sounds at between 5Ω and 120Ω Open circuit voltage approx. 0.4V,
the buzzer may sound at a threshold value between 5Ω and 120Ω.

Or,
■ Buzzer sounds at approx. 40Ω or lower Open circuit voltage approx. 0.4V,
the buzzer will sound at approx. 40Ω or lower.
