- Question
- Tell me about the notation of the continuity test function specifications.
- Answer
- The continuity test specifications of the tester do not conform to the in-house standard or the official standard, and each has its own specifications. The continuity judgment threshold also depends on the LSI built in the tester. The notation for continuity test specifications include following two types.
For example, if the continuity test specification is "Beeper sounds at 5Ω to 120Ω, open voltage approx. 0.4V", the beeper sounds at some threshold values between 5Ω and 120Ω.
And, if the continuity test specification is "Beeper sounds at approx. 40Ω or lower, open voltage approx. 0.4V", the beeper sounds at approximately 40Ω or lower.
