Answer: A suitable range for frequency measurement input sensitivity is 20Vrms or lower. Therefore, even if a higher voltage is applied, there will be no damage within the range up to 600V DC or 50Hz to 60Hz AC. If a frequency measurement of between 50Hz to 60Hz is taken for an AC100V commercial power supply, some kind of value will be displayed and there will be no damage, but the recommended input voltage is up to 20Vrms. The application of high voltage is not recommended, particularly if the frequency is high.
