Details of glossary(G, H)
Grounding resistance
It is the electrical resistance between the copper plate buried in the ground and the earth. In the event of a ground fault accident that causes a leakage current, grounding is necessary to protect the circuit and equipment by flowing the current to the earth and to prevent from electric shock to the human body.
Ground wire
It is a conductor that connects a copper plate deeply buried in the earth with machineries and electric appliances. Since a leakage current flows to the earth through the ground wire, a human body will be protected from electric shock.
High-voltage probe
Probe for high voltage measurement equipped with a resistor.
